Lohmann appoints new President
                          

  
Dr. Frank Sterner has been appointed as the President of Lohmann Animal Health International, according to company CEO Dave Zacek.

 

In his new role, Sterner will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of Lohmann Animal Health International's Winslow, Maine headquarters.

 

Sterner joined Lohmann in February 2008 as Vice President of Biotechnology. Prior to joining the company, Sterner was Vice President Research and Development for a leading pharmaceutical company. He also previously worked for Maine Biological Laboratories, Inc. and a top poultry integrator.

 

Sterner holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Veterinary Virology. He earned an MBA from Salisbury State University, a subsidiary of University of Maryland.
