China's grain reserves to reach 250 million tonnes
China's total grain reserves are estimated to total 250 million tonnes, accounting for 50 percent of the country's annual grain consumption.
Zhang Xiaoqiang, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that China can guarantee grain safety and supply with the latest update.
Zhang assured the domestic market during the sixth annual conference of China import & export enterprises on April 27.
