Noble Foods see 10 percent growth rate in free-range sector
Noble Foods, the largest supplier of free-range eggs in the UK, has forecast a growth rate of up to 10 percent for their sector this year.
The company has invested in its own farms and is running a major recruitment campaign aimed at existing producers who are considering increasing production and at potential new producers.
Noble Foods has already invested GBP3.5 million in the free-range sector in the past year. It spend GBP4.5 million more in a state-of-the-art packing centre in Lincolnshire.
Further developments in packing, processing and the distribution chain are planned.
