Russia's grain harvest may rise 38% in 2013
Russia's grain harvest may increase by 38% to 98 million tonnes in 2013, while grain export is seen at 22-23 million tonnes.
This is according to Vladimir Petrichenko, General Director of analytical company ProZerno.
"The total harvest is seen at 98 million tonnes, including 58.5 million tonnes of wheat. Given the harvest we expect in the new season, all in all, our export potential may amount to 22-23 million tonnes, including 16-17 million tonnes of wheat," Petrichenko said.
He also forecasts corn exports to reach 2.7 million tonnes and barley exports at 2.5 million tonnes.
