Ukraine exports 19 million tonnes of grain since early 2009/2010
Since the beginning of the 2009/2010 marketing year (July 2009 to June 2010), Ukraine has exported 18.991 million tonnes of grains, according to the Agricultural Policy Ministry.
The country exported 1.570 million tonnes in March, and 1.040 million tonnes since early April.
Specifically, Ukraine exported 8,465,800 tonnes of wheat (557,600 tonnes in March, 308,600 tonnes since early April), 5,456 tonnes of barley and 4,862,200 tonnes of corn (506,200 tonnes in March, 243,800 tonnes since early April).
Beside grains, Ukraine also exported 2,002,700 tonnes of oil-bearing crops.
It exported 1,717,600 tonnes of rapeseed (51,000 tonnes in March, 23,000 tonnes since early April), 156,600 tonnes of sunflower and 128,500 tonnes of soy (4,900 tonnes in March, 1,000 tonnes since early April).
The Agricultural Policy Ministry forecasts that the volume of grain exports will be 20 million tonnes in the 2009/2010 marketing year.
