Ukrainian meat factory yields US$1.43 million profit in 2009
The Yatran meat factory in Kirovohrad, Ukraine ended 2009 with a net profit of UAH 11.307 million (US$1.43 million), according to the statement of the plant.
In 2009, the enterprise's net revenue rose by 6.88% or UAH 32.919 million (US$4.16 million) to UAH 511.186 million (US$64.53 million) against 2008.
As the local news previously reported, the large-scale producer of meat products finished 2008 with a net profit of UAH 4.034 million (US$0.51 million), while its net revenue rose by 38.06% or UAH 131.845 million (US$16.64 million) to UAH 478.267 million (US$60.37 million) compared to 2007.
Yatran meat factory produces meat, meat bi-products and sausages under the Yatran, Yatranchyk, and Palitra Smaku trademarks.
