Mucci's Food Products recalls frozen meat, poultry products

The US Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said Mucci's Food Products Inc. is recalling its frozen meat and poultry pasta products due to a safety hazard.

FSIS said the products are adulterated and misbranded as they were prepared without the benefit of federal inspection.

The recall includes Mama Mucci's-brand veal and porcini baci, sausage baci, beef ravioli, veal ravioli, sausage ravioli, roasted chicken cannelloni, prosciutto and grana padana parmesan baci.

The recalled products were distributed to restaurants in southeast Michigan, and to brokers and distributors in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio.
