All suspected French swine flu cases test negative
All four people tested for swine flu in France after recently returning from the Americas have been given the all-clear by doctors, Health Minister Roselyne Bachelot said Monday.
Three of the four had on Sunday been told they were not affected by the disease, and Bachelot on Monday told French radio station RTL that the fourth case was also one of "ordinary flu."
World health officials have stepped up the battle against swine flu after Mexico raised the probable death toll from the epidemic to 103 and the US declared a public emergency.
