China's methionine imports down in March
China's methionine imports registered 9,040.86 tonnes in March, down more than 400 tonnes from February.
Average import price in March was US$5.37/kg, down by US$0.28/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,980 tonnes), Japan (2,241.23 tonnes) and France (1,586.13 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during March.
