Ukraine pork output up 7.5 percent in March
The production of fresh and refrigerated pork in Ukraine grew by 7.5 percent in March 2009 compared to February 2009, to 7,300 tonnes, according to statistics registered by enterprises in March this year.
The output of fresh and refrigerated pork fell by 36.8 percent in March 2009 year-over-year.
In January-March this year, the output of fresh and refrigerated pork totaled 21,100 tonnes.
