Brazil's live cattle exports up 152 percent in March
Brazil's live cattle exports in March increased 152 percent to 61,244 head from February.
This was the second largest on record behind September 2007 when 67,743 head were exported.
Live cattle exports from Brazil do not follow a specific pattern, as volumes vary depending on transport availability and demand from importers, according to the Scot Consultoria.
So far this year, Brazil exported live cattle to only three markets - Venezuela accounting for 66 percent of the total, Lebanon 33 percent and Angola one percent.
