Star Lake Bioscience's 30,000-Ton Capacity Lysine Project to Be Completed in End 2004

China's Star Lake Bioscience Co, Inc. is currently building a lysine production facility in Zhaoqing area of Guangdong province. Estimated to produce 30,000 tons of lysine per year, the project is the biggest in the company's history in terms of both investment and output value. Slated for completion at the end of 2004, the lysine project is set to create a new chapter in the company's development.
Star Lake Bioscience Co., Inc. was listed in the Shanghai Stock Market on August 18, 1998. At the end of 2003, its total capital stood at RMB1.174 billion. This represents an increase of 5.7 times in comparison to the assets the company possessed in end 1992.
