Sudan signs agreements for livestock sector development
Sudan's Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Pastures has signed agreements, concerning livestock sector development and the operation of sperm laboratories, with Safari French Institute and the Coco Genetics.
This came during a ceremony organised by the ministry at the Hilat Kuku Research Centre, in the presence of the Minister of Livestock, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim.
Ibrahim explained that Sudan is seeking to strengthen the capacity of the economic sector. He pointed to the government intention to develop strategic partnership with France in the fields of general livestock production and a particular focus on eugenics.
The minister said that the centre works to develop germplasm and facilitate the transfer of technology between states.
