Hungary's grain exports likely down this year due to drought

 

 

Due to drought that will likely result in average output, Hungary may see grain exports decline significantly this year, the Hungarian business daily Vilaggazdasag reported Tuesday (Apr 24).

 

Hungary depends heavily on exports to euro-zone members, mostly Germany.

 

Average grain output isn't sufficient to support exports after ensuring domestic supply.
