Brazil's new soy crop 90 percent harvested
Brazil has harvested 90 percent of its 2006/07 soy crop as of this week, agribusiness consultancy AgRural said Tuesday (Apr 24).
The figure is six percentage points higher than last week's harvest estimate.
In the main soy regions of the centre-west and Parana, the soy harvest is nearly 100 percent complete.
AgRural estimates Brazil to harvest a record 60 million tonnes. Brazil is the no. 2 soy producer behind the US.
