Alltech appoints three new general managers in Asia-Pacific region

Alltech has announced the appointment of Cemlyn Martin as General Manager for South-east Asia. Martin has a distinguished career with Alltech and has held several roles with the company throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Alltech in November 1999, as enzymes manager for the Asia-Pacific. In 2001, he became General Manager for Alltech India, establishing the company's office and sales operations. He was then appointed as Business Development Manager responsible for the Australian poultry and alcohol industry. In July 2004, Martin was appointed Mycosorb® Product Manager for the Asia-Pacific. More recently, Cemlyn has held the position of Group Product Business Manager, responsible for the management of Alltech's Big 6 products in the Asia-Pacific. He is a graduate from La Trobe University in Australia.
Dr Richard Chong has been appointed as General Manager of Alltech Thailand. In 2000, Dr Chong started working for Alltech Canada. From 2001 to 2003, he worked for Alltech China before taking up the appointment of General Manager for Alltech Malaysia and Singapore. He obtained his Bachelor of Agriculture Science from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 1995 and obtained his Ph.D from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1999. Dr Chong combines his strong educational background with a diverse working knowledge of the animal feed and livestock industry. His appointment in Thailand will further strengthen the Alltech Thailand team. Dr Chong will be based in Bangkok.
Subramonian Ramesh has been appointed General Manager of Alltech Bangladesh. In July 2003, he joined Alltech as Market Development Manager for South Asia. Subramonian is an agricultural graduate from Gujarat Agricultural University, India. He has a post-graduate diploma in enterprise management at the PSG Institute of Technology, India, and an MBA from the Bharathiar University, India.
