Chinese lysine producers lift prices despite slack demand
 
 
Lysine prices were stable to higher unchanged during the week ending April 22.
 
Lysine producers, who were seeing poor returns, were reluctant to cut prices further. While several producers halted price releases, and prices showed signs of strengthening in Europe, some producers lifted price quotes in anticipation of increased demand.
 
Average transacted price rose by RMB0.10/kg to RMB7.12/kg.
