Norway's Leroy announces new CEO
 

 

Norway's Leroy Seafood Group (LSG) has appointed Henning Beltestad as the new CEO after the group's previous chief executivm, Alf-Helge Aaarskog left earlier in the year to join Marine Harvest.

 

Beltestad is 42 years old and is a graduate economist from the Norwegian School of Management (BI). He has worked for the Group since 1993 in a wide range of functions. Since 2007, Henning Beltestad has been managing director of the subsidiary, Hallvard Leroy AS. Since 2008, he has also been a member of the group management team, with responsibility for sales and distribution.

 

Meanwhile, acting Executive Vice President for Fish Farming, Stig Nilsen, has been instated. Stig Nilsen is 52 years old and a graduate agronomist. He also has qualifications in the field of aquaculture. Nilsen has worked for the Leroy Group since 2003 as managing director of the subsidiary Leroy Aurora AS. He has many years of experience from the seafood industry, including fish feed.

 

The group management team for LSG hereby comprises CEO Henning Beltestad, Executive Vice President Fish Farming, Stig Nilsen and Chief Financial Officer, Ivan Vindheim.
