Kemin China celebrates 10th year anniversary
Events for the day included a technical seminar, tour of Kemin China facilities and a dinner reception.
Zhilin Gan, president of Kemin China, made the opening address to the guests, who were from various regions and countries. Subsequently, Dr. Wu Wei from Sichuan Agricultural University delivered a speech on "Nutrition theory and management practices for sows," which highlighted the problems and solutions of sow breeding in China. Other topics for the seminar included "Some issues in sow herd management," presented by Dr. Yan Zhichun and "Sow nutrition and feed quality control," presented by Dr. Qin Jiangfan from Kemin China, who offered unique ideas on the formulation of sow feed.
As China's livestock industry becomes increasingly standardised, Kemin Industries' fifty years of technical expertise will allow Kemin China to advance further in the areas of technology and safety, said Zhilin Gan, president of Kemin China.
Kemin China recently completed the first phase of a seven-year long facility expansion. The expanded facility nearly doubled the production and storage space adding 1,924 square metres to the existing facility. When the final expansion is complete in 2015, Kemin China will also have added food grade manufacturing capabilities.
