China's fish wholesale drops by 6 percent in March

 

 

China's average wholesale price of seawater fish in 11 provinces and cities dropped by 5.51 percent on-month but rose by 9.19 percent on-year to RMB15.47 per kilogramme, the Ministry of Agriculture said.

 

Hunan Province's seawater fish price was the highest at RMB30.5 per kg.

 

The Chinese ministry noted that almost 50 percent of the areas saw sea fish prices dropping against last month.

 

Hubei Province's price hit the strongest decrease rate at 15.7 percent, while the average price in Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was as low as RMB12.5 per kg and RMB12.99 per kg respectively.
