Tightened availability underpins China niacinamide prices
Prices rose marginally during the period in review.
Supply of niacinamide reduced as Lonza's plant in Switzerland halted operation for maintenance purposes. Producers jumped on the opportunity to increase prices of niacinamide while demand remained stable.
Prices quotes for niacinamide were mainly around RMB42/kg. Most producers concluded deals around RMB40/kg.
