Monsanto files suit against Germany's MON810 corn ban
US biotech company Monsanto Co. has filed a suit against Germany's decision to ban a type of genetically modified corn - MON 810 - manufactured by the company, German daily Handelsblatt reports ahead of publication Wednesday (April 22), citing a company spokesman.
The company has filed the complaint at the regional administrative court in Brunswick and is demanding a decision on the matter by mid-May.
