China's Maidan Group's Second Phase Lysine Project to Commence Production in May

According to industry insiders, China's Maidan Group's second phase lysine project will be commencing production in May 2004. According to a source, the production equipment, which is imported from Germany, has been installed.
The annual production capacity of the new set up is reportedly at between 15,000 - 18,000 tons. Maidan's lysine output is expected to reach 800 tons, combined output from the existing and new production facilities, in the next few months.
Maidan Group in China, an investment by Weidan Group of Taiwan, is located in Fujian province, China.
