Ukrainian farm reduces output by 2 percent

Ukraine's Koziatyn poultry farm, which is largely owned by OSI International Holding, has reduced production by 2 percent in March.

Output in comparable prices has also been reduced by 3 percent to UAH 7.6 million (US$1.5 million).

The enterprise's spokesman said the production cut is due to the reduced number of cattle supplies from supplying companies.

About 354 tonnes of meat and byproducts, and 28 tonnes of sausage products were produced in March.

Koziatyn poultry farm is an open joint-stock enterprise that processes and produces beef, pork, sausages and semi-finished meat.

The OSI International Holding (Germany) owns 95 percent of the farm.
