Russia likely to export 25.7 million tonnes grains till season ends

 

 

Russia exported 22.3 million tonnes of grains during July-March of 2011/12 marketing year (MY), taking into account peas and flour volumes nearly 23.2 million tonnes, according to data of the analytical center of CJSC RusAgroTrans.

 

According to preliminary estimations, in particular, in March 2012 the country exported 1.65 million tonnes of grains.

 

Experts forecast that in April 2012, Russia will export 1.5 million tonnes of grains, in May - 1.2 million tonnes, in June - 0.7 million tonnes.

 

Until the end of the season, the grain export from Russia may reach 25.7 million tonnes, and taking into account peas and flour volumes - 26.7 million tonnes.

 

As a reminder, according to the March forecast of analysts of APK-Inform Agency, in the current season grain exports from Russia will increase to the level of 25 million tonnes, due to the current rate of exports of niche crops.
