Vietnam's Minh Phu Seafood JSC exported 2,904 tonnes of seafood products in the first quarter of this year, fetching US$31.12 million of turnover, up 35.6% against the same period last year.
This year, the firm plans to issue 20 million shares to existing shareholders and outsiders to raise charter capital from VND700 billion (US$36.8 million) to VND900 billion (US$47.3 million).
Minh Phu is one of Vietnam's top seafood producers and exporters. The company implements quality management system and full-circle process covering hatchery - farming – processing in six of its plants in the country.
Ca Mau Aqua, the company's biggest aqua farms specialising in shrimp intensive bio-tech farming produces around 12 million tonnes of whole natural shrimp per year.
