The State Statistics Service of Ukraine declares that Ukraine's general production of agricultural commodities grew by 0.5%, in January-March 2012 as compared to the same period of 2011, including agricultural enterprises, up 1.9% and households of the population down 0.7%.

Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 43% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products - up 82%.

In the reporting period, the average selling prices of Ukrainian agricultural products of agrarian enterprises increased by 8% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products - down 14%.

In March 2012, the index of average selling prices of agricultural products grew by 3% compared to February 2012, including plant growing products - up 3%.
