Bulgaria's 2012 wheat production down 20%
Following adverse weather, Bulgaria's wheat harvest will drop about 20% this year to 3.3-3.5 million tonnes, according to Kiev, Ukraine- based UkrAgroConsult.
The southeast European country still will be able to export grain even after wheat losses, the researcher said in an e-mailed statement. Adverse weather damaged about 30% of the country's winter wheat crop, UkrAgroConsult said.
