Beef Prices In Japan Fall For Third Week
 

Retail prices of Japanese and imported beef fell in the week ended last Friday for the third straight week, the farm ministry said Monday.

The average retail price per 100 grams of domestically produced chilled loin beef was down 5 yen, or 0.7%, from the previous week to 677 yen, while that of imported chilled beef fell 6 yen, or 1.6%, to 369 yen, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said.
