Friesland Foods opens second milk plant in Vietnam

 

 

The Netherlands' Friesland Foods on April 15 has unveiled its second Dutch Lady milk factory in Tay Nam industrial complex, Phu Ly town in Vietnam's northern province of Ha Nam.

 

The plant is seen to initially produce 200 million kilograms of milk a year. The first Dutch Lady factory was built in the southern province of Binh Duong.

 

Construction of the Dutch Lady Ha Nam factory --with the total investment capital of US$40 million covering on an area of 58,000 square metres-- was started last year with facilities covering milk processing and powdered milk manufacturing.

 

The second factory will create opportunities for 200 workers in north.
