Aviagen appoints technical manager for TMEA

Aviagen has appointed Zied Azzez as its new international technical manager for Turkey, the Middle East and Africa (including North Africa and Sub-Sahara).

Based in Tunisia, Azzez will spend the next few months completing his induction training across North Africa as he interacts with Aviagen customers there.

"Appointing Azzez to this role means it is the first time we will have someone based in Tunisia to serve local customers. It means that Azzez fully understands the market and the needs of our customers. His appointment also demonstrates the further enhancement and commitment Aviagen has for its local technical service offering in the region", said Neil Clark, Aviagen's regional technical manager for Turkey, the Middle East and Africa (TMEA).

Prior to joining Aviagen, Azzez studied animal production engineering in Tunisia before his career at ETS Azzez, a feed mill and hatchery facility where he worked for four years.
