Lysine market stays soft in China as buyers limit purchases
Lysine prices were mostly unchanged during the week ending April 15.
Several producers halted price releases since early April while demand remained slack. A handful of producers lowered prices in a bid to clear mounting stocks.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were slightly lower at RMB6.70-7.20/kg.
Lysine prices will be under pressure in the near term amid excess supply.
