Kazakhstan to provide 300,000 tonnes grain to Indonesia
Kazinform reported that Kazakhstan will supply 300,000 tonnes of grain to Indonesia this year.
The agreement on grain supply was signed between the Kazakh company Bereket and the Indonesian company Indofood within Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Indonesia.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is on his first official visit to Indonesia on April 12-15. Kazakhstan is among the world's largest grain exporters.
In 2011 the republic had a record harvest of nearly 27 million tonnes of grain in net weight. Export potential was estimated at 15 million tonnes.
