Clearly Canadian to acquire Baldwin Street Kosher

Clearly Canadian Brands has announced its signing of a letter of intent to acquire Baldwin Street Kosher, a fast growing 3-year-old kosher meat products brand.

Baldwin Street's product range includes hot dogs, sausages, salami and other kosher and gluten-free meat products.

The brand is sold at major Canadian supermarkets as well as at kosher carts at sporting events, which boosts its exposure and reputation.

Clearly plans to use its resources to rapidly expand Baldwin Street's revenues, said Bobby Genovese, CEO of Clearly Canadian.

"We anticipate being able to pay for this acquisition out of cash flow generated from its operations," said Genovese.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Clearly Canadian Brands markets alternative beverages in Canada, the US and various other countries. Clearly has recently also ventured into the food market through the acquisition of organic and natural food product companies.
