DSM announces management appointments

Royal DSM N.V. has announced that Jos Goessens has been appointed as director of strategic projects, while Roelof Westerbeek has been appointed business group director of DSM Engineering Plastics.

Jos Goessens is currently the business group director for DSM Engineering Plastics.

With the appointment, Goessens will be leading a project on Functional Excellence and Synergy resulting from the acceleration of the DSM strategy Vision 2010 as announced in September last year.

Goessens will start on May 2008, alongside his current role.

Meanwhile, Roelof Westerbeek has been appointed business group director of DSM Engineering Plastics with effect from October 2008.

Currently, he is the business unit director from Asia Pacific at DSM Engineering Plastics.

Prior to that, Westerbeek held various management positions within this business group. In his new role he will succeed Jos Goessens.
