Argentina's 2006/07 corn sales at 10.56 million tonnes

 

 

As of April 13, Argentina had sold 10.555 million tonnes of 2006/07 (March-February) corn for export, according to the Agriculture Secretariat's latest data.

 

The Secretariat closed the corn export registry in November in the face of soaring export declarations.

 

By this time last year Argentina had sold 3.35 million tonnes of 2004/05 corn.

 

Each figure represents thousands of tonnes sold.
