Canada Bird Flu Spread To 29 Farms
Two more farms have now been confirmed to have avian flu in British Columbia's Fraser Valley.
The virus has now been detected on a farm in Surrey, far outside the original five-kilometre-radius "hot zone'' near Abbotsford.
The virus has now been confirmed on 29 B.C. farms and has forced the slaughter of nearly 20 million chickens and other fowl.
