ADM closing Brazil soybean plant
Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) has announced that it will discontinue operations indefinitely at its soybean crushing and refining operation in Tres Passos, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil immediately. The plant closure is due to poor crushing margins.
ADM is a world leader in agricultural processing and one of the world's largest processors of soybeans, corn, wheat and cocoa. In addition, ADM produces value-added food and feed ingredients.
