Ukraine's grain exports forecast lifted to 2.7 million tonnes

The March grain exports of Ukraine were 2.7 million tonnes, higher from the previous estimate of 2.32 million tonnes, UkrAgroConsult said.

March exports included 1.9 million tonnes of corn, 570,000 tonnes of wheat and 180,000 tonnes of barley, the Kiev-based researcher said in an e-mailed statement. Shipments were down from February's 1.2 million tonnes of corn and 388,000 tonnes of wheat, it said.

Exports since July 1 are nine million tonnes of corn, four million tonnes of wheat and two million tonnes of barley, it said.
