Ukraine may form grain pool
Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan may come together to form a grain pool this year, to coordinate crop sales and share export facilities, said Ukraine's Deputy Economy Minister Valeriy Muntiyan.
"Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan may set up a grain pool this year," said Muntiyan, Ukraine's representative at the Commonwealth of Independent States, before a meeting between Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Russian Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrynnik had announced plans in 2009 to share port facilities on the Black Sea.
