Biomin - The natural way
 

Today, Biomin is known as one of the key players in the international feed additive business. The reputation Biomin has gained over the past years is due to hard work and ambitious visions.

Besides new feed additives, the latest innovation from Biomin is a new feeding system called the "Biomin VBS". This Vario Biotic System helps customers to optimise the use of feed additives, gives nutritional recommendations as well as tips for a better farm management.

The Vario Biotic System will guarantee that customers can use novel feed additives in the most sustainable and economical way, thus fulfilling the demand of consumers for healthy food.

Biomin, the company that cares for health in animal nutrition, was founded in 1983 by Erich Erber. At that time, the idea to support the health of animals to ensure high performance was unique.

The "3 men and 1 woman show" proved to be on the right track. The company, as well as the product range, grew fast. At the beginning, Biomin was known as a producer of high quality mineral premixes and feed additives in Austria and Central Europe.

In the nineties, Biomin started to expand worldwide. In Asia, Biomin started up offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and China. In America, a sub-office was started in Texas and Romer Labs, a company specialising in mycotoxin analysis, was taken over. Biomin has offices in Austria, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Lithuania and France and exclusive distributors worldwide. As a result, Biomin can offer its solutions to customers in more than 80 countries.

In the beginning, there was Research & Development in cooperation with universities in Austria and Hungary. Today, Biomin cooperates with research facilities all over the world. However, most of the company's R&D is done at the IFA-Tulln in Austria. Constant improvement in R&D, as well as a strict monitored quality assurance program, forms the basis for best products for our customers.
