Honduras shrimp exports seen to reach US$150 million
Production of farmed shrimp in Honduras is expected to reach 80 million pounds, while exports are estimated at US$150 million.
Asociacion Nacional de Acuicultores de Honduras (ANDAH) said production would be impacted by the world economic crisis this year.
Main destinations for Honduran shrimp are Germany, England, Costa Rica, Mexico and South American countries.
