Hog cholera hits Vietnamese central province
An outbreak of hog cholera broke out in the central province Nghe An of Vietnam, according to a local news report on Friday (Apr 10).
According to head of the provincial animal health bureau Nguyen The Do, the outbreak was detected in Nghi Kim commune, killing 53 pigs.
Hog cholera (HC) is a highly contagious viral disease in pigs and wild boar.
