Taiwan's MFIG buys 60,000 tonnes of US corn
 

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group bought 60,000 tonnes of US corn from trading house Cargill in a tender concluded Thursday, said an official with the group.

While 27,750 tonnes will be supplied at US$211.25/tonne, the rest will be supplied at a premium of 169.90 US cents/bushel to the Chicago Board of Trade July contract.

The shipment will arrive in Taiwan between May 23-Jun 6 if shipped from the US Gulf or Jun 7-21 if shipped from the Pacific North-west.
