CJ Group announces the completion of construction on its 60,000-tonne lysine production facility in Liaocheng, China
China's CJ Group (Liaocheng) has announced the completion of its 60,000-tonne 65-percent lysine production facility which started construction in April 2004. Trial production is expected to commence on June 1 this year.
At the announcement which was made during the 2005 China Feed Industry Trade Exhibition held in Fuzhou city of Fujian province from April 9 - 11, the company also provided detailed information on its 65-percent lysine products.
South Korea's CJ Group is one of the largest lysine producers in the world. Its 98-percent lysine plant is located in Indonesia, with an annual output of 150,000 tonnes. In 2004, the company exported 24,800 tonnes of lysine to China.
The Group's plant in Liaocheng, Shandong province is the company's second lysine production facility.
