Bush reaffirms commitment to beef farmers

President Bush has reaffirmed his commitment to the beef industry while addressing the National Beef Ambassador Team during the National Cattlemen's Beef Association Spring Legislative Conference. in Washington, D.C., recently.

In his speech, President Bush reaffirmed his support for cattlemen, South Dakota National Beef Ambassador JoAnna Strom said in a news release.

President Bush understood the importance of keeping farms in families for generations to come and gave assurances that he cares about future agriculturalists and millions of farm families across the United States, Strom said.

The National Beef Ambassador Program seeks to provide leadership training for the young beef ambassadors. The program was started and is managed by the American National CattleWomen, Inc.
