Brazil's Cocamar processed soy output hits record high in March
Parana-based agricultural cooperative Cocamar Cooperative Agroindustrial announced that it produced 77,300 tonnes of soybeans in March, achieving a new monthly record high that broke the previous record of 75,000 tonnes in April 2006.
Cocamar's refined soybean volume registered an average of 367 tonnes/day, up from the previous record of 340 tonnes/day in September 2006.
According to industrial director Valdemar Cremoneis, Cocamar's soyoil refinery had reached a 92 percent capacity usage, with a capacity to process 400 tonnes of soybeans daily.
