Contaminated feed suspected in cattle deaths in Iowa
Authorities are investigating the feed used in a feedlot in Adair county in the US state of Iowa after 150 cattle died over the weekend.
The dead cattle were found on Sunday (Apr 9) by an employee.
Veterinarians determined the cause of death as feed-related and said it was not caused by disease. Samples of the feed were tested.
The sheriff's office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are on the case.
