South Korea's AFMC Buys 100,000 MT US Soybean
The Agricultural and Fishery Marketing Corp. bought 100,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 1 soybeans from trading house Toepfer in a tender concluded late last week, said a Seoul-based trader who received the tender result.
AFMC bought soybeans that don't contain genetically modified organisms in four cargos of 25,000 metric tons each at an unspecified price. The cargoes are for arrival at the port of Incheon from mid-December to early July next year. The port of origin is the U.S. Gulf.
