Nicaragua's second wheat cargo arrives
Russia's second wheat delivery provided free of charge to Nicaragua has arrived in the country, stated the Russian ambassador to Nicaragua, in Managua, Nikolai Vladimir.
According to him the wheat that Russia has provided as assistance has significantly reduced the need for grain in Nicaragua and has greatly reduced the price of bread.
By the end of the year Russia will supply to the country with 100,000 tonnes of wheat as humanitarian aid.
The Minister of Development, Industry and Trade of Nicaragua Orlando Solórzano, in turn, said that "around the world the high quality of Russian grain has been confirmed".
He recalled that before the arrival of the first batch of wheat in Nicaragua the representatives of some enterprises criticised its quality but now such statements are no longer heard.
